Community Engagement

At Vision One Eyecare Center, we believe in supporting the community that trusts us to be their preferred eye care provider in Northern Kentucky. Each Friday you'll see our staff wearing jeans in the office to show they've donated to our quarterly charity. Apart from our in-office fundraising, our entire team believes in giving back to the community and Vision One supports them in their endeavors.

Where We Volunteer

Our compassionate team volunteers their time to work in soup kitchens, clean up their neighborhoods, participate in outreach events through their churches, and fundraise for local charities through various events. Below are just a few of the organizations we are involved with:

  • Cinderellas Closet NKY
  • I Have Wings is a local foundation that supports local women through their battle with breast cancer. They support women and their families financially and emotionally during their treatment. Because the disease has affected each of us in a personal way, this charity is very near to our hearts and we frequently fundraise for them and attend their events. We've selected them twice to receive the money raised from our "Casual for a Cause Fridays."
  • Covington Partners encourages positive values among youth through a drug-free and healthy life.
  • Bethany House Services empowers homeless and at-risk families with solutions to achieve housing stability and long-term self-sufficiency.
  • On Monday, March 30, 2105 the staff at our Fort Mitchell location presenting Kim, founder of the H.O.P.E. Center, with our $913 donation. We're proud to work with such a wonderful organization!
    • We're excited and humbled that Taryn from the Vision One team recently presented $1,000 to Lifeline Ministries through NKU's Mayerson Student Philanthropy Project. Taryn says, "There is no one more deserving of this money than Chris and his organization. The selfless work that they do for others is remarkable. I'm so glad I had the chance to participate in this project through NKU, one of the largest philanthropic schools in the nation!"
    • Thanksgiving Food Box Giveaway 2014, passing out Thanksgiving meals to hundreds of families in need with Lifeline Ministries of Northern Kentucky.
