Jennifer Mercado, O.D. Dr. Mercado received her doctorate of optometry from Illinois College of Optometry in 2005. Prior to joining Vision One in February 2007, she provided eye care services at Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida and at regional VA clinics. Dr. Mercado enjoys helping her patients see more clearly and getting to know them beyond their vision needs. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Kentucky Optometric Association and has special interest in children's eye care, contact lenses and ocular disease management. Living in Taylor Mill, with her husband and two pet rabbits, she enjoys crafts, sewing and traveling, when not caring for her patients.
