Yes. Though vision screening are an excellent way for the school systems to pick up gross abnormalities in your child's vision they are by no means comprehensive enough to find any health issues or mild to moderate vision problems. The only way to accurately detect problems that may affect your child's visual performance is to have a comprehensive eye health and vision exam.

Yes, our doctors are therapeutically trained to diagnose and treat most types of ocular conditions.

Flex spending is a program created by the government which allows you to put away pre-taxed dollars in an account for use on medical care, services and materials. Generally speaking the money must be allotted the year before use, typically November or December, and must be used by the end of the following year. It has the advantage of allowing you to spend tax free dollars.

To find out if you have Flex spending contact your employers benefit coordinator.

You can use flex spending on eyecare services, the purchase of glasses, contact lenses, contact lens accessories, and vision therapy.

Yes. Whether you're interested in receiving contact lenses for the first time, or having your existing contact lens prescription evaluated and updated, it is necessary for our optometrists to perform a contact lens evaluation.

At your contact lens evaluation you will be examined to see if you are a candidate for contact lens wear. The contact lens evaluation includes the measurement of the corneal curvature (using a computerized corneal topographer or an autokeratometer), a trial of diagnostic lenses, training of proper insertion and removal along with follow up visits with your doctor to ensure proper contact fit and vision.

A Vision One technician will instruct you on insertion and removal of your contacts before you take them home. Written instructions will also be provided to ensure proper technique and care is continued.

Our prices are very competitive. The cost depends on the specific contacts that you were prescribed. In regards to the Top 10 selling contact lens brands on the market, we are 2-19% less expensive than competitors and for your convenience we can ship your contacts to your home or office within 48 hours.

Our office carries a wide variety of frames for the entire family. We carry Armani Exchange, Baby Phat, Bongo, Coach, Candies, Disney, Ed Hardy, Guess, Juicy Couture, Jimmy Choo, Koali, Lafont, Maui Jim, Nike, Nine West, Oakley, Silhouette, Tommy Hilfiger, Vera Bradley and more.

Usually if your arms seem to be too short or you feel that you need brighter lighting in order to see, it is a good sign that you are in need of bifocal or progressive lenses.

No, our optical shoppe is open during our normal office hours and one of our knowledgeable opticians will be available to assist you with your selection.

Your glasses should be updated as your prescription changes. If your prescription has changed we recommend that you either replace the lens with the correct prescription and/or replace the frame to a more updated style available in our optical shoppe.
